Q: Will the zine be SFW or NSFW?
A: The project will include both SFW and NSFW works, but whether they will be mixed in one zine or separated into complementary ones will be decided by the interest check.Q: Will ships be allowed? Will there be any restrictions?
A: All ships will be allowed. Whether in both zines/sections, or only the NSFW one, is still being decided by the interest check.
Participation Q&A
Q: are there any prerequisites to applying?
A: All participants must be 18+ and must either have, or be willing to create, a discord account as all major communications will take place in the event server.Q: Do I need any zine experience to apply?
A: Not at all! You do not need zine experience to apply, and whether or not you have any will not be taken into account when evaluating your application.Q: What will be the ratio of guests to accepted applicants?
A: The majority of contributors will be chosen from the applicant pool, rather than invited as guests. Once the interest check has concluded and we have a more concrete idea of how we'll be formatting the zine and how many contributors we'll be needing, we can give more specific numbers.
Financial Q&A
Q: Will this zine be for free, for charity, or for profit?
A: This zine will be P4P, meaning it will be priced at the cost of production. If we reach a production threshold that offers discounts and end up making a profit, that money will go to a charity voted on by the contributors.Q: Will contributors be compensated?
A: Our main goal will be to provide all contributors with a complimentary full bundle, shipping included. If we don't manage this, our back-up will be to provide each contributor with a physical copy of any item(s) they personally worked on. Regardless, all contributors are guaranteed to receive a full digital pack and a discount code for the pre-order period.
